The iTunes Visualiser

I really like iTunes‘ built in Visualiser. I could watch it all day.

No, seriously, I could. I find it absolutely mesmerising. Back in the days of Winamp I’d seek out loads of different visualisers but this one makes all the pretty patterns that they ever did at the click of a button.

This is a bit sad really isn’t it?

Get out and ride your bike Olly, you’re finding that far too interesting for your own sanity :-p

Got a NW-HD5 now btw :-) very nice, no visualizer thingy on it though :-( mind you id only end up walking into things :-p

Huh? But you only got the HD3 a minute ago!

Question on everybody’s lips: Is SonicStage as piss poor as people are saying it is? Now, bearing in mind that you don’t like *anything* its unlikely to get a great review, but you never know ;)

Never heard of it, HTH

Its Sony’s iTunes equivalent, HTH, HAND.

SonicStage is fine, its just the thing you use to transfer songs for me. I play music on my pc via winamp, and I burn cds using whatever else I have. I download MP3’s to my music folder on my hard drive. You then import files into SonicStage and upload them to the player.

Sold the HD3 (via ebay) to get HD5. Hardly lost anything (and that was only due to paypal fees).

Does SonicStage have to convert everything to Sony’s proprietary format? I tried using an old version with my CD-based player and it didn’t do MP3 at all.

I believe the current version can do MP3 natively – the newest players certainly can.

With version 3.1 you can create MP3 files. Though im sure there are better programes to do that with. You just import them into sonic stage instead. You can then upload them to your MP3 player.

However ATRAC is much better quality if your are recording from a cd.

However, you cant go round to your mates house and download from the player them onto their computer.

I just got my 2000t and all of my songs are skipping in iTunes, and I cant figure out why. If someone could help me out and tell me how to fix this I would really appreciate it because its driving me crazy. Thanks for the replys.
